I assume the trick with the eyes about ten minutes in is a split-screen camera trick — at least I hope for Colleen Moore’s sake that it was a trick — but it still always makes me laugh.
I’ve been trying to find this movie for so long without any results. Could you please upload it again, maybe to a place different than YouTube to avoid the same difficulties? Well, thanks in advance. I really like this website.
Unfortunately, I don’t have this movie. I didn’t upload it – I just linked to it. There’s a lot of clips on YouTube, but no other complete copy.
I should also note – you can purchase Ella Cinders at http://reelclassicdvd.com/silent_era.htm for $20. I don’t have this particular discs, but I have others from reelclassicdvd and they do a fine job of issuing the rare stuff. Plus, this has a score from Ben Model!
