Grand Old Movies

Way back when PCF first launched on wordpress.com, Grand Old Movies was the first blog to notice and say hey. I can’t express how much that warm welcome and encouragement meant to me. I also can’t express how much Grand Old Movies as a site meant to me in terms of enjoyment and inspiration.

This is one of those film blogs that come right from the heart. The reviews are warm and suffused with affection for the movies from Hollywood’s Golden Age. As the About page points out, “grand” doesn’t necessarily mean “great” here. But we classic movie fans know the difference. These movies are grand and the site gives them the treatment they deserve.

Now go, go – go read Grand Old Movies and be prepared to fall in love.
